is ARRIS TG862G still compatible with Xfinity?

Bought this older model a while ago and went to reactivate it, but could not get the activation to complete.  Its an older model, so just looking to find out if its even still compatible with Xfinity.

... ARRIS TG862G ...

The TG862G is listed on https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/broadband-gateways-userguides under "Xfinity Gateway (1/2/3)". The devices listed on that page are not usually available for customer purchase at retail, they're only available if you are renting them from Comcast.

Greetings, @user_oe2qyn! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about this modem. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

That modem could still work for some service levels, but it may not be compatible with every package, depending on your subscription. You can find a list of all the compatible and recommended devices on our website, based on your service address: https://www.xfinity.com/support/devices/
