Is anyone still having trouble connecting their Nintendo Switch to their WiFi?
I have an "XB8-T" modem and from what I understand, this particular modem is "too secure" for my Switch to connect to, which doesn't make any sense to me. I have never had this problem with AT&T so why is this any different?
I digress. Is there any way to bypass the security of the modem so I can finally connect to my WiFi on my Nintendo Switch so I can FINALLY update my games? Anyone who has had this problem and has fixed it PLEASEEE walk me through it. Please.
Thank you so much.

Open up the Xfinity app. Tap the WiFi tab at the bottom. Then tap WiFi details. Next, tap Edit WiFi settings. On that screen, ensure that the 3 bands are not split, so you will have a single WiFi name and the same password for all three bands. Also ensure that Security Mode is set to WPA3-Personal-Transition. Power cycle the XB8 by disconnecting power for 30 seconds.
On the Switch, go into the network settings and delete all WiFi/network profiles.
Once the XB8 is fully online, join the WiFi network from your Switch.
if that doesn’t work, let me know what errors you’re getting. My Switch has never had an issue connecting to my XB8, and the above settings are what I’ve always used. Good luck

@MSVALDA Were you able to follow the instructions to change the security settings on your modem?
