IPV6 Stopped working

I have a Mikrotik router and IPV6 has been working just fine for awhile.  I noticed it is not working and here is what I am experiencing.

I have a DHCPv6 setup on my wan Side.  I have had a prefix hint of /56 for the longest time.  I am receiving a gateway but that gateway is not pingable from the router and the router is saying it is invalid and unreachable.

What should my v6 DHCP settings be? has this changed? I have been a customer for years

I fixed this by going into the mikrotik settings and doing 2 things.

1. On the dhcpv6 client I unchecked "add default route"

2. In IPV6 settings I changed "accept router advertisements" to yes.

@j2sw

A question please. Are you actually getting a /56 subnet allocation ? To my knowledge, they are currently only allowing hinting for and providing /64 subnets for residential accounts.
