IPV4 not working only IPV6 sites

I have done everything you can think of. Disconnecting wifi extenders restarting modems. I have even called multiple times to no avail. I think it has something to do with a MAC address or DHCP fault. I have a technician coming soon but if it is a software side issue i’d rather not be told to buy a new modem. Thank you.
