IPv4 No Access to Internet

I tried to set up my brand new modem yesterday evening and after following all of the steps, I could only access Google based websites like YouTube or Gmail. Come to find out that I only connected to the internet through IPv6. IPv4 had the status of not being accessible. I tried trouble shooting on my PC and it came back with the message that the DNS server was not responding. Keep in mind this was happening on my mobile device, connected through WIFI, and my desktop PC, connected via ethernet. Early that day at my previous address I was having no issues.

Hi there @ user_myjbx1 we know that any service disruption can be frustrating. We would be happy to look into this with you.

Please send us a DM with your full name and address to Xfinity Support.

To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
