IPSEC VPN reconnecting issues

I am experiencing intermittent connection drops when using a IPSEC VPN for work. I am on a wired LAN connection with a brand new cable. I have power cycled all of my equipment. I have contacted my IT help desk and we have tried everything on our end. I need you to perform a line monitoring test to check my connection for packet loss, jitter, and signal instability. It is not a complete outage, but a momentary instability that is disrupting real time applications. Can you confirm that your network does not filter or block UDP ports 500 and 4500? Could you also verify there is no filtering on IP Protocol 50 which is the Encapsulating Security Payload (ESP)? Does your network employ any form of Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) or traffic shaping that might terminate long lived encrypted connections like an IPSEC VPN? Could it be the DHCP Lease?
