iphone not connecting to xfi pods
Our iphone 15 and 16 suddenly stopped connecting to pods but other iphones and ipads will. The only way to connect is to forget the network and re-enter the password. I have had two technicians out and hours on chat with no help. any solutions to this issue?

I do have the XB8. I followed the resolution exactly and the iPhone 15 pro is now connecting but the iPhone 16 pro still will not connect automatically to the pods. Any other suggestions?

Try changing iPhone Wi-Fi setting for IP address from Automatic to Manual.
My iPhone 15 Pro will always connect to XB8 Gateway but won’t stay connected to 2nd Gen xFi extender pods.
Forgetting wi-fi network and logging back in with password temporarily restores connection to extender pods. But it is a short term fix.
If my iPhone 15 Pro goes outside network area (I leave home and return) connection to extender pods is lost again until network is forgotten and password restored.
Changing iPhone setting for IP address from automatic to manual is a near perfect fix for this. (Issue only returns if outage of xFinity network or power grid occurs)
On iPhone go to Settings > Wi-Fi >.then select your wi-fi network
scroll down to IPV4 Address
While Configure IP is still set to “Automatic” copy the values for IP Address, Subnet Mask and Router
Change Configure IP to “Manual” and manually enter the values you copied
