iPad games apps like Roblox not working

I have an Xfinity xb8 gateway. I just upgraded from the xb7 but my issues have stayed the same. I am having issues with certain apps on iOS devices not connecting to the game server. For example Roblox on iOS will give a message saying no server connection. The iPad is connected with good connection. I have offloaded the app and reinstalled, restarted multiple times the iPad and router, factory reset the router, turned on and off advanced security, changed private WiFi address to fixed and rotating and off, manual DNS to google dns, and deleted the WiFi and restarted. This issue was occurring before with the xb7 and is happening again with the xb8. I tried the troubleshooting ai bot in the app (which is a pointless loop) and it just restarted everything. I’m at a loss for why Xfinity is blocking these certain apps. Help!?!?!?

Hello @Xfinity_finding_new_ways_to_suck thank you for taking the time to reach out to us! Since this has occurred with both modems have you also reached out to the game support? Like Roblox support? Does this happen on any other devices? Do you play this game on a computer that is hardwired to the modem? If you do play this game on a device that is hardwired to the modem do you have the same issues?

Update - An Xfinity support came to my house and spent 3 hours trying to fix the WiFi. He completely restarted the and reinitialized the network. We still had issue and later had to change out all of the hardware with a new router. He eventually gave up when the network would not allow the Samsung tv or Nintendo switch to work. It’s unclear why the network would connect and allow some web connectivity but mostly the devices would connect but not function when trying to use. The issue goes across iOS, android, and Samsung devices.

Also the apps all work perfectly on these devices on any other network. This is definitely an Xfinity issue.
