Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.

Hi there and welcome to Comcast @chas.h. I am sorry to hear that you have been having troubles with the Internet service. Have you checked to see if there are any interruption in the area that could be affecting your service?
