Internet spikes in Ping every like 10-20 minutes while gaming

As I said the internet jumps to like 2000-4000 ping every few minutes while gaming and sometimes while doing nothing, its not congested cause its only 2 people for the up to 900mbps plan (I also use ethernet but it doesnt affect my phone or anyone else)

@user_fv5cs7 Ping spikes can be frustrating, especially during gaming. I would be more than happy to help find a solution to this problem you're experiencing. Have you by any chance tried to reset your modem by using the Xfinity app? How about a power cycle, have you tried that?

@user_fv5cs7 I would be glad to look further into your account to see if there may be something going on with the services.

If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon, then type or select "Xfinity Support". Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.
