Internet Speeds A Fraction of My Plan
My internet speeds are not even close to the plan I pay for. I am on the 800 mbps plan and would expect at least 500-600 mbps, however I only receive about 50-60 mbps. It has been this way for an entire year and has not changed. I have updated all modem firmware and restarted it many times over. Can someone please look into why I am unable to get consistently high internet speed? Thank you.

I too have the same issue ... Paying for gig speed plus, getting 80-100 Mbps download speeds, and in fact, some speed tests return a faster upload speed than download, which is RIDICULOUS! Maybe it's time for a class action lawsuit

Yeah. This is [Edited: "Language"].
You can search for "Xfinity not delivering advertised and paid for speeds" and similar on any search engine and you'll get thousands of posts over years. Xfinity/Comcast are proving that they simply don't care because they have regulatory capture and a legal geographical monopoly. Basically, the government supports their anti-consumer practices. It's only in the last months that customers have been leaving in droves because of these practices because Wireless ISPs now exist. Ironically, some Wireless ISPs didn't have data caps while Xfinity/Comcast, a WIRED ISP, couldn't even offer unlimited without the customer forking over another $30/mo on top of the already insulting prices for such slow speeds that they can't even guarantee. [Edited: "Language"], I couldn't get the advertised speed 50% of the time. Now Xfinity thinks they can save their bottom line by, finally, offering unlimited bandwidth (as long as you are savvy enough to switch your plan yourself), but they still can't provide the advertised speeds we paid for.
[Edited: "Solicitation"] It's obviously false advertising even if you don't dig deep enough to see how the network is very obviously manipulated through packet-shaping.
