Internet Speed
I’m paying for 1200 megabits internet, (gigabit internet) my router speed reading sometimes is more than 1200 mbts
why my devices aren’t receiving the full 1200 mbs
they range between 800-900 mgbps. Why is that . Shouldn’t i be receiving what I’m paying for ?
also my internet drops constantly. So annoying!

You don't mention whether you're using a wired or wireless connection.
For wired connections, the vast majority of personal electronics in use today won't have more than a 1Gig ethernet adapter which, given protocol overhead, has a theoretical max of around 940mbps. Throw in various real world constraints like interference sources and cable condition, and you're looking at 800 to 900 mbps, which you seem to be getting.
WiFi capacities vary WILDLY depending on what adapter you're using, what your router is capable of, what your site conditions are, etc. Googling 'real world wifi speeds' will give you an idea how widely real world speeds vary, but here's one sample: How Fast Is a Wi-Fi Network?

@user_30f8a1 Hi there, thank you for taking the time to reach out to Xfinity Community Forum for assistance. I understand you have some questions regarding your internet service, and it would be my pleasure to help in any way I can. For starters, each device in the home is not going to get the entire 1200 Mbps your plan offers. You get enough to support the entire home altogether, and that is shared with all connected devices. Any device directly connected to the modem will always have the best speed, while devices connected wirelessly will have less. Also, the further you are from the modem itself may affect the connection as well. If you connect too many devices, that could result in being kicked off the network and having to rejoin. You can prevent that by making sure only devices being used are connected. I hope that makes sense. You getting 800-900 Mbps while being wirelessly connected is actually great. Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions or concerns.
