Internet speed increase???
I received an email the last week saying my internet download speed has been increased by 100 mb/sec, and upload speeds increased too. When I check, I'm still getting the same up/down speeds I've gotten for years. I rebooted my modem and still have the same results. Is this email accurate? Was it sent out by mistake? Text from the email below.

I got a similar email as follows
We’re giving you faster speeds – at no extra cost
Same as you there is no difference in my upload speed, more talk without any actual results!

@HankV If you're not seeing the upgrade the bootfile may not have been updated or there is a restriction with the current equipment you're attempting to access the new speeds. Our team can investigate and provide some insight. If you could please send me a DM with your first and last name along with your full-service address, we can get started.

I'm having the same exact problem as HankV's original post and others. I received the same email with the same text on March 13. I'm currently on Performance Internet with download speeds 'up to 300Mbps'. My Comcast speed test shows same download and upload speeds as I was getting before I got the email announcing the increase, not 100 Mbps faster. I reset my Arris TG1682G modem and my separate router but that made no difference.
Do I also need to change my plan from Performance to Connect More to increase my speed to 400 Mbps? How do I do that without an increase in price?
Thanks!

My speed increase took effect as soon as I rebooted my modem (Arris Surfboard SB8200.)
