Internet Service Line Installation - Ongoing Issue - Please Help
Hello Comcast Xfinity team,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the recurring failure to properly install and bury the internet service line at my property. Despite five separate repair attempts, this issue remains unresolved.
On each previous occasion, technicians have replaced severed lines with temporary cables left exposed on the ground. Subcontractors have consistently failed to bury these lines, resulting in poor terminations, significant packet loss, and total service outages. Most recently, the exposed cable was damaged yesterday by utility work being performed in the neighborhood by AT&T.
While I have a technician scheduled to visit today to address the line broken by the fiber optic installation crew, a temporary fix is no longer acceptable. This situation is unsustainable and is likely affecting neighboring properties as well. I request that this matter be immediately escalated to a supervisor or senior technician who can ensure the service line is professionally installed and buried according to industry standards and quality control.
Additionally, I request that the cable entry point into my home be properly hidden and protected from the elements. Please also arrange for the utility box to be replaced, as the current one is brittle and failing. Please provide a definitive timeline for a permanent repair. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to cancel my service and switch to an alternative provider. I look forward to your immediate response regarding this escalation.
Thanks in advance!
