Internet randomly dropping and inconsistent internet speeds.
Hello. I have been having issues with my internet dropping signal for the past 2 weeks or so during virtual classes and other random scenarios such as video buffering (never really had this issue before) and having constant packet loss when playing online games.
I also get inconsistent speeds. Whenever I notice slow internet I check the speeds and notice it drops down to as low as 7 Mbps. When it is working as it should I get around 400 Mbps. Yesterday night I noticed I was getting around 400 Mbps and the internet was working great. As I am writing this the internet speed I am getting is around 15 Mbps.
Here is my modem status information as well as my recent logs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The downstream power is on the low / weak side and it may be intermittently fluctuating even lower to out of spec levels. That can cause random disconnects, spontaneous re-booting of the modem, speed, packet loss, latency problems, and the un-bonding of channels.
In an effort to try to obtain better connectivity / more wiggle room, check to see if there are there any excess/unneeded coax cable splitters in the line leading to the modem that can be eliminated/re-configured. Any splitters that remain should be high quality and cable rated for 5-1000 MHz, bi-directional, and no gold colored garbage from Radio Shack, Home Depot, Target, etc. Splitters should be swapped with known to be good / new ones to test.
Also check the coax cable for any damage such as cuts, nicks, kinks, sharp bends, etc.
If there aren't any unneeded splitters that can be eliminated and if your coax wiring setup can't be reconfigured so that there is a single two-way splitter connected directly off of the drop from the street / pole with one port feeding the modem and the other port feeding the rest of the house/equipment with additional splits as needed and you've checked all the wiring and fittings for integrity and tightness and refresh them by taking them apart then check for and clean off any corrosion / oxidation on the center wire and put them back together again, then perhaps it's best to book a tech visit to investigate and correct.

Yes. The cable drop line should have been buried. That's on them. Including the cost.
On your other questions. If you are talking about having a tech come out to investigate your connectivity problem, there will be around a $100 fee if the problem is found to be with your wiring / hardware / equipment. If it's found to be on their side of the demarcation point, there is no charge. The customer service number is 1800comcast.

I consistently get 350 or 850 mbps, and it goes back and forth almost every time I test. And this is on their own modem with only monitoring using the bandwidth. So... They have a massive problem.
Some people care at Comcast, but generally speaking, Comcast does not.
