Internet periodically drops leading to reboot needed

Once or twice a week my internet will be dropped; the wifi network is still visible but says no internet connection

Restarting the gateway/router fixes the issue but this causes a 20 minute annoyance
I am using the default provided gateway/modem

It has been fairly random, but more often happens in the afternoon between 3 and 6

I had 2 technicians coming over to my house. They even replaced my modem, my internet will be okay for 20 minutes or so, then drops, and I have no internet, it will fix itself eventually, but in my case it happens every day, every hour, non stop, and the technitians can't do anything about it because in their system my internet works, I wish I was lying but I'm getting fustrated as a college student that i cant properlly do homework due my internet not working correctly, I honestly tought i was the only one
