Internet outage

I keep having issues with the internet for both computer and TV going out off and on all the time.  This has been going on for a few days.  Getting in contact with Comcast is ridiculous.  There is no place to contact anyone.  I hope someone can answer my question.  Do I need a new router?  Do I need service in-home?  Do I need to find a replacement service?

 

This is a really round-about way to get an answer and it is unacceptable to me.  I should not have to hunt down a way to get a solution to my problem.

 

The error message I keep getting is RDK-03033.  It comes up on the TV with a message that says check your connections and make sure everything is plugged in.  This is after the TV and/or computer have been on for a little while.  I'm not running around playing with the plugs.
