Internet outage the whole day

I had to take a day off on a busy day due to internet issues as I cannot work from anywhere outside as I work with multiple devices and they are blocked if I try to use them from different IP address. I am not sure when it started in the morning but when I tried to login at 9AM PDT from Sacramento, CA, 95828 on sept 10th, initially i thought it is a modem issue as my app shows similar but when I checked the outage via Xfinity url using my address then I saw an outage this is so ridiculous. No notice has provided 

this is second time in this month. first time it was off for like 2-3 hours. Will Xfinity be responsible for anybody working and facing issues in this area???
