Internet Outage for Over a Week
It started on March 8th. Twice a day up until now (7 days later) My internet goes out then I get the standard outage text telling me to be patient. I call the number to talk to a human and the automated system recognizes my number and gives me the run around. I say "customer service" I'm asked what my issue is and I'm looped back to the automated system telling me about the outage in my area. This is absolutely ridiculous. My neighbors and I at least need to be told what is going in. To have outage that last this long is sad.

I am having the same issue. Are you in the Sandy Springs / Atlanta area? I wish they would at least give us information about why this is happening and when the predict this issue will be resolved.

@3782 thanks for your post. We are happy to take a look at your account and complete a full investigation. Please feel free to send us your name and address in a direct message:
(Full credit to @BruceW for this excellent explanation!)
"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Direct Messaging" message to Xfinity Support:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
• - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
• - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
