Internet out twice in a day

I noticed around 5:30am on 11/15/22 the lights didn't seem normal on my cable modem. My Ooma phone system was showing offline as the internet was down. About an hour later the internet was back up. Then it went down again around 8pm Back up now, but I wonder what's going on - if Xfinity has equipment or cable trouble? This is in Vernon Conn. When I called Xfinity from my cellphone the automatic message did confirm there was an outage. After it was up I thought I'd check and got this status. It was back up a few hours before the ETA.

The Xfinity Status Center is a good one to bookmark, and is the most effect way to get interruption updates for your area and information about your services. The text notification feature works great to keep you informed along the way too.

Hello Thomas, I was hoping to hear about a reason for 2 outages in a day which is unusual. It was a while ago and has been fine since. Just curious as I work in a similar field. I understand this information may not be available or permitted to be posted.  I know there's apps for cell phones to track what the status is of an outage, but unlike most others I have very little data available on my cell phone plan which is why I use and depend on Xfinity. I certainly understand there will be service interruptions and don't expect perfection. if the second outage didn't happen the same day around 8pm I would not have even posted the situation. Overall Xfinity's service level has been very good.

I'm sorry that you've been experiencing these service issues, @Stevek066! I know the specific interruptions were some time ago, but have you had any issues in the past day or so?
