Internet not working

My internet is down and I can not get it to work the lights are orange

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.

@user_h5yaf4  I'm sorry to hear you're having a connection issue. You're with the right team for a resolution! Have you had the time to troubleshoot?

If not, can you unplug your modem from the wall outlet for one minute.

If you have a separate router, amplifier or extender please reset that as well. 

Please check the connection on your modem to ensure they are all finger tight and secure.

 

If your modem is plugged int a surge protector please reset that as well. 

 

Are you seeing any messages in or Xfinity app in regards to maintenance or downtime being reported in your area?
