I have had comcast for two weeks now. My modem/router keeps dropping my internet connection. There is no pattern. it just drops at anytime day or night. I have an amplifier to help the signal. But it still keeps dropping. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm having the same issue for the past 2 weeks.  And now it is dropping every night around 9pm, modem loses connection for a minute or 2, reconnects for a minute then drops again over and over till finally going down completely.  Always have to unplug the router only to have it start acting up almost immediately.  I also do not have cable boxes, but use the xfinity app and a roku to watch my cable, so not only do I lose internet, I lose tv as well.

@DErb159

Start with the modem's signal stats. Perhaps they already are, or they are close to being out of spec and intermittently they go completely of spec. Try getting them here http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1

Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.

What is the exact make and model number of the modem ?
