Internet keeps dropping

I work from home so I need a consistent internet connection. Everything has been working fine for several years now since they changed the wires from the pole to my house. But recently they were going through "upgrades" to the neighborhood I was told and were working on a street a couple away from my house. I was told there would be interruptions for that day. Ever since that day though I have been having my connection slow to a crawl or drop completely. Its completely random and sometimes lasts a minute other times it lasts 5-10 minutes. I am hard wired to the modem on one computer and wifi on the other and they both do it at the same time. I have reset my modem and it will fix the issue (or it fixed itself in the meantime) but then will occur an hour or two later again.

It is very suspicious that there were no issues prior to the "upgrades" in the neighborhood and pretty much started right afterwards. The TV has also been doing it some, but not as frequent since. It will spin or freeze the picture here and there, especially when I am using an app.
