Internet keeps dropping - have to reboot Comcast router many times every day

Help! I've been having this problem for over 8 months, chat tech support says no problems found, yet rebooting is the only thing that temporarily fixes things. I pay for internet and for renting the Comcast router modem.   I suspect it's a problem at the box at the pole (this happened like 15+ yrs ago as water/moisture got in the box and the replaced it).  Can you help please?  Thank you!

user_8e1954 thank you for using the Community Forums page to reach out, I would be happy to assist you with your internet connection concerns. I know how important working service is as someone who uses the internet daily and 8 months is far too long for an ongoing issue. Outside of restarting the equipment, what troubleshooting steps have you completed using theXfinity Support site?

@XfinityMarcus hello - tried everything including turning off power to house - I finally got a text msg to schedule a tech who should be here in next 2 hrs ( have never been able to schedule via answers to your chat app) - hopefully solved today - thank you for reaching out to help - I’ve had Xfinty/Comcast for 25+ yrs!
