Internet issues in this area

For last 6 days I am having every day 2-3 hours of downtime in my area (San Jose, CA). And I was told that it's going to continue till Monday. Every day I get different answers, earlier it was to be finished by Oct 8th. Comcast is promising better performance and speed. 

Does anyone else having similar issues? I was told that it was area wide. No notices given about it.

Anyone has any more information on this?

Have you checked our Xfinity App to see if this is a service interruption reported in the area? Typically, any interruptions will be reported there or through our Support Center website.
