Internet issues for years that are never resolved by technicians.
Honestly just really tired of having my time wasted. I’ve had tons of internet issues from Comcast over the years I can’t even remember them all. We’ve had Tons [edit all caps] of technicians out and they never can fix a thing. They just keep replacing the same cables they’ve already replaced and keep replacing modems that have already been replaced. They never actually address the root cause of the issue, but at the same time won’t even bother to try to look into it until you have out multiple techs in the same month. And even then when the technicians come out they act toxic and frustrated about having to come out. I’ve personally in the past ran trace routes, then pinged the xfinity servers being used to direct my packets, and then identified specifically where the packet loss is occurring. And yet when I did that nothing was done to fix it, no matter how hard I tried to get someone to fix the issues on Comcast’s end, nobody did anything. I really just don’t understand why you guys rather send out infinite technicians and waste your own time and money, and waste my own time and money, rather than actually fixing the issue. Consistently over the years whenever we are having issues, they last weeks at a time, sometimes up to 2 months at a time. Every single time we’ve had issues, the upload speed drops from 40 down to 2-15. And when trying to play any sort of games we are just constantly rubber banding and it’s a complete mess. Also the latency just gets terrible, and goes up to 2-3x what it normally is. (30ms to 60-90ms connecting to the exact same servers) And I’m just here to see if there’s anything I can do to actually get the issues resolved without wasting my time. Or if there’s nothing I can do and Comcast will just continue providing the same terrible overpriced service
