Internet issue for nearly 2 months, 3 technicians visited, NOT RESOLVE!

Hi there,

I'm having internet issue since the end of September. My internet randomly kicks me offline every couple of days. There were 3 technicians visiting already but NONE of them resolves that for me. The unusual thing is, technicians only do cable work inside my apartment. Every time they said they're done, the internet is good for only a few days. Then it happens again and again. I'm pretty sure it is because the aging of the internet cable inside the apartment building. I sometimes have really abnormal signal levels from my modem.

I kept all those recent event logs from my modem. (the second technician asked me to do that, but the third guy didn't even want to look at them).

I really need your help from Xfinity.

Thanks,

FWIW, the techs should be able to narrow it down and tell you if it is indeed a building wiring problem. If it is, it is out of Comcast's hands as it is the building owner's responsibility to maintain the internal building wiring / hardware.

Thanks for reply, they came three times, but the problem is really intermittent. I can not guarantee I could reproduce that problem every time they visit. Also, two of those technicians said they had to talk to their boss and fix that, but it has been 2 months, I'm still experiencing internet loss.

I had this same exact issue in my old home. Every few days I would lose connection. I would go outside and unplug the cable going into the house for a few seconds then connected it again. it restored my internet for  a few days. After multiple tech visits and multiple modem changes. They found the cables were aged in the box outside that gives service to the home.....

Hi, thanks for the reply. What did you do to let the technician find the issue? They are not helpful at all. None of them would like to really spend some time to help me out.
