Internet going in and out

I am having issues with my internet dropping randomly through the day. It seems to be so random and has no pattern. I could be online for 5mins and it will drop or 1hr and it will drop. It usually starts right back up in about 1-2mins. I have also noticed this does NOT happen at all during the night. It also does not seem to be happening when anyone is not home. We have a ring camera that notifies us when the connection drops but it doesnt happen when we arent home. Anyone have any ideas?

same. started ~2 weeks back. happens throughout most weekdays during the day mostly. it was pretty much stable this weekend. today, it's dropped at least 10 times. luckily i have att cell to fail to, but it's still super disprutive especially working purely from home and trying to do webex calls with my customers. my neighbors are seeing the same thing.

 

i've honestly been trying to just wait it out and pray comcast confirms and resolves an issue. every time i call to report something like this i get a tier 1 person me to reboot my modem.

I have had this same issue. I have made multiple calls and have had two techs out (in three days) I have replaced 2 modems, bought a new ethernet cable, upped my speed, nothing. The first tech found issues with the amplifier the in cable the face plate and some fitting and fixed those. Then it started going it again 24 hours later. I then had someone else out today. He said it was going out because the modem was plugged into a power strip and not the wall.  (called it dirty power?)He said everything was fine and that the only other thing it could be was the modum so he replaced that too.  I streamed movies on different browsers on all computers and devices hooked up to wi fi. It has stayed on since noon today maintaining speed. Fingers crossed but not 100% confident it has been fixed as it has been an issue for three weeks. Fingers crossed.
