Internet Goes Out Every Morning at the Same Time

My internet was not working this morning when I was about to be connected to a student whom I teach via video connection. I was marked “teacher no show” because I wasn’t able to get into the online classroom. This penalizes me at my job. I did know that we had constant issues where the Internet doesn’t work first thing in the morning and we would have to mess with the modem in order to get it back up and running, but I didn’t think it would happen this early (4:30am). This is going to be a BIG ISSUE if it continues. Does anyone else have issues where your internet does not work in the mornings. I thought we paid for our internet to be accessible 24-7???

What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1

Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.

What is the exact make and model number of the modem ?

Is this a WiFi connection ?

Just had this issue resolved after 6 days. I thought I was losing my mind... My internet was going out between 11:00am and Noon everyday and coming back on every night between 5-6pm. Nobody could answer why... So because I hope no one else has to go through this with people who clearly had no idea after several calls and tech visits for days on end, it turns out it was a crack in the cable wire that when this particular cable gets hot it expands and when cool it retracts so when the temperature in my area began to warm up I would lose service and when it cooled off my service would return so if you are losing internet around a certain time everyday and it coming back on later, you are not crazy 😜 it is most probably a cracked/damaged line causing this issue. This could be my problem as well. Could you please specify which portion of the cable was bad? I'm suspicious of the external cable that runs from the side of the house to the box on the side of the road. Is that cable the one that was cracked for your service? Thanks for your earliest response!

yes same here 3 to 4 am it really is affecting us, i see many complaints so I know its not my wiring..
