Internet goes out daily at 4am
I believe that my modem resets every night at 4am. From what I read, this is normal. However, every time it does this daily update/reset, all my smart home devices go offline, most importantly my Ring cameras. When I get up at 6am every day, I reset the router through the Xfinity app and then everything connects as it should. This wouldn't be a big deal except I have missed criminal activity occurring between 4am (when the router does it's thing) and 6am (when I do the manual reset). Does anyone know why the automated daily update/reset at 4am could create some kind of IP or DNS issue that fails to connect my smart home devices until I manually reset the router?
