Internet goes out. Customer service issues.
My internet keeps going out. I have done the reset/troubleshooting 20+ times. Technicians have been here twice and both have said they made repairs. The last one replaced the modem. I have contacted Xfinity no less than 11 times regarding this. Yesterday an agent promised me a credit and a tech appointment. Neither happened. Last week an agent promised me a $40 credit. I received $4. Today I again made an appointment for a technician. I am beyond frustrated. How do I get this repaired permanently.

Solution: Xfinity failed to maintain their equipment. Junction box located in my neighbor’s yard was full of grass and debris. Everything was corroded. First two technicians didn’t bother to look there. But they made 20 billion in profits last year so…

Thanks so much for reaching out to Xfinity Support. I completely understand how frustrating it can be when your service isn’t performing the way it should.
When a technician visits, they’re able to check several potential causes, but sometimes the issue may not be visible during that single visit, especially if the problem isn’t happening at that exact moment. In those cases, another technician may be needed to take a fresh look.
Depending on what they find, the technician may also reach out to our maintenance team. Maintenance can investigate things further down the line, outside of your home, to make sure everything in the wider network is working properly. If you continue to have trouble, we would be happy to help.
