Internet drops for 25 - 30 minutes in the middle of the day since the network "upgarde"

We've had our Xfinity service at our home since 2019 and experienced almost no issues... up until Comcast spent two days "upgrading" the network in our neighborhood. That was two days w/out internet forcing my wife to work from a coffee shop that was also part of our neighborhood network, so that didn't work either. Were we compensated or our bill prorated? Nope.

Ever since this "upgrade" our internet has been dropping during the day for 10 - 30 mins. It doesn't happen every day but it happens at least twice a week. I pay for the highest consumer grade plan, too. This is unacceptable because it's impossible to lead meetings over the internet when it keeps dropping.

hi there and welcome to Comcast. We really appreciate your business since 2019. I am sorry to hear that you have experience service issue after we started working in the area. Customers can now request a credit for a service interruption easier than ever without speaking to an agent (this feature isn’t available to customers in California at this time). Qualified customers now receive a one-time credit when reporting their service interruption through the Xfinity Status Center in My Account. To receive the credit, you must login with your XFINITY ID. Please visit https://comca.st/3bOgFmh and click the link, Tell us more about your experience in the Outage Tips section at the bottom of the page.

If you run into any trouble retrieving your credit, please let us know and we will be happy to have you send us a private message so we can review your account further and apply the appropriate credit.
