Internet down/xfinity app won’t load

My Internet has been down 7 hours. Cannot get modem to reset. Cannot get xfinity app to load (I deleted it and immediately tried to download again as a troubleshooting action. App wont download)

First. Check here for official info on any possible local outages;

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.

@user_5qogo8 Are still experiencing issues at this time? We recommend checking for nearby interruptions that may be affecting your services. You can use the Xfinity app or by logging into the Status Center Online
