Internet download/upload speeds inconsistent... During Twitch livestreams internet fully DIES/DISCONNECTS

I livestream on Twitch as a side-business. Every time I stream, my internet has problems and either shuts off, or my upload speed drops dramatically until the point

of my livestream not functioning. I've tried using different streaming services/software and only received the same exact issues.

Every speed test I do is always inconsistent with the Xfinity package I am paying for. Last night during my speed test it showed my upload speed at 0.1MBPS which is completely unacceptable and incorrect.

According to the techs, all of my hardware is top of the line and has no issues. I've tried everything on the troubleshooting page as well..

Here are the results from one of the tests...

C:\Users\Kyle>tracert www.comcast.net

Tracing route to e7010.dscg.akamaiedge.net []
over a maximum of 30 hops:

  1    <1 ms    <1 ms    <1 ms
  2     1 ms     1 ms     1 ms
  3    17 ms    10 ms    10 ms
  4    10 ms    10 ms    12 ms
  5    11 ms    12 ms    10 ms
  6    24 ms    14 ms    27 ms
  7   319 ms   243 ms   371 ms  50-222-48-18-static.hfc.comcastbusiness.net []
  8    13 ms    16 ms    15 ms  a104-77-231-143.deploy.static.akamaitechnologies.com []

What concerns me is line 7.... 319ms/243 ms/371ms response times... everything else seems okay.

Can anyone help? I know Xfinity says they DO NOT throttle, but why do I have internet issues every single time I try to livestream? It's getting ridiculous :(

Any sort of help is appreciated greatly.

The trace continues past the timeout excess latency at the intermediate hop and reaches the destination, so what appears to be delay at that hop is probably not real or significant. Please see https://www.dslreports.com/faq/14068.

First. Try tracing to the Twitch domain where you live stream. Tracing to Comcast.net is unhelpful as that is not the server(s) where Twitch content comes from / goes to.
