internet crashing all day extremely slow speeds.

all day my internet has been crashing every hour it seems, after 5 full modem resets on the X1 modem i rent from xfinity,  the tech i talked to , spent more time assuring me she was helping me than actually doing so. 

after 5 full resets,  i cant even break 100 mbps on the 800 plan i pay for. 

The rep tried to make me buy an upgrade saying it would fix my service to upgrade to 1000 mbps for the low price of 254 dollars. 

This makes no sense since online on my plan it says upgrading to 1000mbps is 5 dollars more per month on my plan online if i was to do so.

So i have no idea what she was trying to sell me for 254 dollars. 

Now we have a tech coming to the house tomorrow evening, which was fine, then she started with the fact she is putting me on a waitlist for tomorrow morning at 7:30 am,  as well,  and went on for over 10 minutes about how she was doing this ( i never asked for it nor wanted it) and how there's no guarantee etc. 

Now last month this same thing happened and 2 hours before the tech was due to show uo, we got a text saying the problem was all on comcasts side, and was all set now, and no need for a tech. 

this then worked great for a month,. now im noticing this is happening at the end of the month both times now, and im wondering if they arent purposefully throttling my speeds in purpose. 

My wife works from home, i pay for the higher internet speed, and we can do anything right now, as the latest peed test is a whopping 68 mbps down and 23.86 up. 

Im a diamond member, and i can honestly say at this point as soon as there is another option here, ill dump comcast cable and internet for anything else reliable. the app never works  on my phone to chat by the way, it'll runther test and rest my modem over and over, but thats it.
