Internet constantly disconnecting

  • Recently I had xfinity send me a new modem upgrading my old one that I had had for over 5 years. Before the new modem unless there was a service outage in my area I never once lost connection. Now with the new modem and a replacement that I got from xfinity store I am loosing internet connection constantly ever 5-10min making it impossible to play games which is main reason I have internet. This disconnection is on wifi and ethernet connections but the modem connection lights always shows good. I have done trouble shooting thru app many times and it shows no problems or when the connection drops it just says error and restarts test never recognizing that i lost internet. I have found it impossible to talk to an actual person to try and resolve this issue since the automated services are useless in my case and give no options to talk to person.
