A contractor doing work on our house inadvertently drove a wooden stake through the cable line from our house to the cable box in the back of the yard.
A cable technician was able to splice together the cable and we are back online and able to watch tV.
Awesome I'm glad you were able to get a technician out there to get your line fixed so your services are working how they should be. Do you have any other questions or concerns?

First. Check their site here for official info on any possible local outages;
https://www.xfinity.com/support/status
Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.
Or you can use their Xfinity App: https://www.xfinity.com/apps
