Internet connection issues

We have been having issues with our internet service ever since that latest Xfinity outage and Apple update. Our mobile devices (iPhones, iPads, and Laptops) will be connected via wifi but will not have internet. Cycle the WiFi off then on and it will come back until you stop using your device (close out of screen). Then when you grab your device and try to use the internet again same issue. We have restarted the gateway, devices, etc....I suspect a bad gateway (firmware or something).

Thanks for adding the post, I do hope you're enjoying your holiday week. As a customer myself I know how important it is to have the Internet working as it should be. This linkhttps://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/internet-troubleshooting-tips/602dae4ac5375f08cde52ea0

has great information on how to troubleshoot your Internet connection via our awesome Xfinity app or via our website. What's great about these self-service options our system will run through some remote troubleshooting steps to see if the issue can be fixed remotely. If the issue is not able to be fixed remotely you'll be connected to our awesome Xfinity chat assistant to schedule a troubleshooting tech to come out and fix the issues.

Let me know if this information was helpful in resolving your connectivity issue.
