Internet connection drops every 12-48 hours after Xfinity Outage

Hello,

I have been having almost daily intermittent Internet connection drops for more than a month now, after Xfinity had an outage in my area.

Before that outage I had 2+ years of flawless connection.

After I started experiencing connection drops, I changed the modem from Motorola MB8600 to Arris SB8200, because I thought the modem was the issue (it was not), I changed 3 coax cables (supplied by local Xfinity office), reset modem to factory defaults, reset router to factory defaults (do you know how much time does it take to reconnect every single device and smart home device back after router reset???), yet modem cannot connect to the network! 

Router shows "Your ISP's DHCP does not function properly".

Chat support is absolutely unhelpful and infuriating, does not understand basic English, keeps redirecting from one agent to another, playing dumb and gaslighting me, asking to reboot the modem (like I have not done this hundreds of times by now???!), disregarding my asks to be switched to advanced tech support or to check the modem provisioning.

Equipment:

Modem: Arris SB8200v3

Router: Asus RT-AX58U

I tried all combinations of these WAN settings on the router:

MAC Address Cloning: Yes/No

DHCP query frequency: Normal/Continuous/Aggressive

Modem admin page shows these statuses for Connectivity state:

Not Synchronized -> US Ranging -> Requesting CM IP Address -> Obtaining ToD -> Registration Failure

Modem just goes into a loop after Registration Failure.

Sometimes the modem connects, but it does only last less than 12-48 hours before it gets disconnected, and then it can stay disconnected for half a day showing "Registration Failure" and "Your ISP's DHCP does not function properly". Sometimes it connects for like a few seconds/minutes and then drops again for 1 hour...

Can someone from Xfinity finally fix this???!! How many hours/days should I spend with unhelpful support that only says "restart your modem"???!!

I did not do anything with cables in the walls, or coax ports in the walls, this only started happening after an outage in my area.

I cannot do my work without Internet, for which I'm paying for! This is infuriating at this point!

Do I have to sue Xfinity to get this done and to get my Internet working???

The issue was with the coax wire inside the wall. Fixed.
