Internet At Home Keeps Disconnecting During 7 PM to 1 AM CT Time
I have been having issues with my internet for the last couple of months, and have found no resolution in sight. I have already had multiple reboots, completely changed out cables between my modem, router and my un managed switch. I already had multiple conversations with Xfinity customer service and with IT support to no avail. They tell me that the modem is working fine, and the line is working properly. And if they send a Tech out to me, it will be ruled out to be costumer hardware fault. But since neither the modem or router in question barely 1 to 2 years old, I doubt it.
Using WinMTR, I am able to see the traffic from my home network to the website I am trying to reach, Ex. google.com. The connection begins to lose packets as soon as it hit my ISP side, between 15% to up to 75% loss. I have been unable to snip it when it hits 75%, but it does happen. If Xfinity is unable to resolve this issue, I will have to switch back to a provider that is willing to provide consistent connection that my family can use at later parts of the day.
