Internet and customer service issues

first I wanna say that I already filled out this form and when I went to tag categories, it asked me to refresh, and I lost everything that I put in here. Add it to the list of irritations with Xfinity

my Internet service has been dropping recently and when I chatted with customer service, they said I need to upgrade my modem. So they are going to send me a new modem and said it would take 6 to 7 business days or I could stop by the store and grab one. I elected to stop by the store and get a new modem. Two days later I ended up receiving one in the mail as well. This caused issues as I needed to return to the store and return this modem. Additionally, the one that was mailed was added as the “main one “on my account which caused other issues as well.

a week later my Internet is no longer working again. I chatted with customer service once again and rescheduled me a a technician service appointment. So they said. The day arrived of my appointment and I had not received a confirmation email so I chatted again as I thought this was weird. The agent informed me that no appointment was ever made for my service address. They also informed me an 8 to 10 minutes. I would receive a call from the technician team To schedule this appointment, that was already supposed to be scheduled. I had planned my whole day around this appointment. It has been over 10 minutes and no one has called me yet to set up the appointment.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Our apologies for the frustrating experience @user_aao2y1. Our team would be happy to assist.

Please send us a DM with your full name and address to Xfinity Support.

To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
