Intermittent Wifi service disconnections
For the past month or so, our modem has been intermittently dropping Wifi connectivity for no apparent reason. The Xfinity app is of absolutely zero use because its 'troubleshooting' algorithm is occurring during times/moments when the modem is working fine.
I am a psychotherapist working from home on my phone and/or laptop. These intermittent wifi disconnects interfere with both the legal constraints of my license and ethical obligations to my clients.
Intermittent Wifi disconnects also prohibit completion of the cloud backup services I have scheduled for middle of the night operation.
We have been customers since the early 2000s -- gotta say I am furiously fed up with Xfinity’s idea of automated ‘customer service’. I do not have hours to waste with Xfinity bots that are programmed to NOT think and have, to date, NEVER 'allowed' me to request or schedule in-home technical service (which, btw, I PAY for every month)!
PLEASE direct me to a person who will schedule a technician to fix whatever is wrong with the recently inconsistent Wifi signal/system in this house?!?
