Intermittent total packet loss since recent line work, three 22+ second outages in 10 minutes
Since an outage at my address in early September and the line work that followed, my connection has had repeated short dropouts. Video calls freeze and drop, and general browsing is slower. Service was stable before the outage.
I ran a 10 minute test on 2026-09-10 (11:16:57 to 11:27:01 PDT) pinging three targets once per second at the same time: my local router, Comcast DNS (75.75.75.75), and Google DNS (8.8.8.8).

The loss was not scattered. It was three discrete total outages, each lasting 22 to 24 seconds. The first six minutes of the test were completely clean, then three outages occurred within four minutes.

Two independent upstream destinations stopped responding at the same moment, three separate times, while the local network never dropped a packet. This places the fault upstream of my equipment.
What I have already ruled out on my side: Wi-Fi signal is -44 dBm against -89 dBm noise, roughly 45 dB SNR, 802.11ax at 1200 Mbps. Zero interface errors across 126 million packets on the client. Zero packet loss to my own router across 600 consecutive pings, including through all three outages and under full download load, with a worst single reading of 77 ms. The problem affects multiple devices, including a phone on the same network. Reducing bandwidth heavily by turning off video on calls makes no difference, which is consistent with total loss rather than congestion.
Frequency: during a bad stretch this is roughly three outages of 22 to 24 seconds each per 10 minutes, or about 12% of all traffic lost. On a video call that is a hard freeze every couple of minutes. I work from home on video calls, so this is affecting my ability to work.
I see area maintenance scheduled for 9/17 from 1:00 to 3:00 am. Is that related to the line work done at my address in early September, and is it expected to address intermittent packet loss on my drop? If it is not, I am requesting a separate service call, since waiting a week with calls freezing every couple of minutes is not workable.
