Intermittent outages with Hitron CODA56 on 1.2Gps and 200Mbps
Within the last week, I've upgraded to the HITRON CODA56 to take advantage of the enhanced upload speeds in the Atlanta area. For about 5 days, it worked flawlessly and we got the enhanced speeds. Over the last 24 hours, we've had three outages specifically with our house, yesterday from 8:30am-2pm, today from 4:30am-6:30am this morning, and then 8:30am-11am.
Just wondering if this is just a part of the growing pains of this new implementation or if the faster speeds are potentially revealing a hardware issue with the coax cabling to the pole at the street?
We've got a technician coming out in the coming days to hopefully offer some insight.
Thanks for any insight.

an Xfinity tech came to our house today and quickly determine that the connectors at the telephone pole and at the termination point outside the house needed to be replaced. He saw some channels that were not communicating well but after replacing the connectors all the channels were up and running. Seems the upgraded modem revealed some vulnerabilities in the wiring outside the house but all is well now.

Hello, @user_7f78ff Thank you for reaching out to the community forum. The tech that is appointed to arrive will ultimately be able to tell you the reason for the intermittent connection issue. I can tell you have not seen a report of any known issue with the Hitron or Next Generation Speeds causing service interruptions. We can look to see if these interruptions were area-wide or specific to your residence.
