Intermittent dropouts many times per day - Xfinity Gigabit internet
Hi, I've been having a "dropout" problem for many weeks now. I notcie it on Zoom (and other "web") meetings (whether they include video or not), and we also notice them when watching Neflix, Hulu and others on our Smart TV (Samsung). This happens on both my home (wireless internet) PC and my work (hardwired to the modem) laptop.
I'm a very tech-savvy guy. I have rebooted my Comcast-provided gateway more times than I've eaten meals. I have checked that cables are tight, etc.
What can be done?

I got a new gateway from Comcast over the weekend. This appears to have solved the issue.

My router is a Comcast one. I have this issue on a directly-connected laptop and my wi-fi connected desktop. Downstream DNRs are 40.3; Power ranges +6.5 to +8. My upstream power is +39. Zero correctable/uncorrectable codewords.
Logs (yesterday option):
System: just one Admin login
Event:
Firewall:
Cabling is tight and undamaged. Onky one splitter in my outside box. Signal booster (at the gateway, placed by Comcast) is plugged in and connections are tight.
Pings and traceroutes to a variety of locations are normal.
What else?

I am beginning to suspect it's the gateway itself.
Side note: Photo below of a Netspot scan done just now - I'm connected via the highlighted (purple) row.

If I power cycle the gateway sometimes it won’t do it for a whole day, sometimes it makes no difference.
I’ll look for an image posting site soon.
