It appears that a condition exists that is called *reverse cable tilt*. This is where the higher frequency downstream channel's power levels increase more compared to the lower channels. A few of the highest ones are actually out of spec.

You may want to get a tech out to investigate / correct this one. Good luck !

@EG   Thanks. A tech is scheduled for this afternoon. Any guidance on what I should share with them to help in the troubleshooting?

They're clear! Note, the tech added a splitter in the box on the outside that was supposed to address the power warnings.

@XfinityAdrienne I, too, am having a daily warning - RNG-RSP CCAP Commanded Power in Excess of 6 dB Below the Value Corresponding to the Top of the DRW - in my modem event log (Nighthawk CM2050V, Firmware Version V9.01.01) and see from reading the forum that I need a technician to adjust the power. I would appreciate your telling me the best way to schedule an appointment. Thank you so much for your help. Kathy

@kbgorman

Please create a new topic of your own here on this board detailing your issue. Thanks. The original poster has not returned. 4-month-old dead thread is now being closed.

For future reference, it is better to submit your own post as it creates a ticket to get help, and posting on an old thread can delay getting help.
