Intense Lag during Peak Hours
Hello,
I have been using xfinity internet at my apartment, but I've recently started noticing problems. At about 8:30 PM Eastern time each night, the internet becomes practically unusable for online gaming. My online games simply stop responding for up to a minute at a time during this time, until approximately 10:30 Eastern time. I understand that these are peak hours in my area, but this makes the internet essentially unusable during those hours, which is the time I have to play said online games. I have already started resetting my router multiple times per day, but without any noticeable improvement. What else can I or Xfinity do to mitigate or resolve this?

@user_jt21 Thanks for letting us know what's going on. We can help troubleshoot. For this it is best to catch the trouble and signal levels while it is happening. The next time this happens at that same time, send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the message icon located at the top right of this forums page.
Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
