Increasing Internet Outages

We are having increased internet outages that are adversely effecting work as I work from home. Customer service line has not been helpful as this appears to be a line or external issue as all tests in our modem are fine. Customer service has confirmed that our whole neighborhood is having problems.

Thanks for posting on our community forums, user_54u1vv. I completely understand how frustrating frequent outages can be, especially when you rely on your internet to work from home. I’m sorry for the disruption this has caused.

 

To clarify, when we show an interruption, it means we’re already aware of an issue affecting the area and our teams are actively working to identify and repair the cause as quickly as possible. Since the tests on your modem are coming back clear, this does align with what you were told, that the issue is external and impacting the neighborhood.

 

You can monitor the status of the interruption and any updates in real time through the Xfinity app or by visiting the Status Center. Both will show progress, estimated restoration information (when available), and automatically update once service is restored. We truly appreciate your patience while we get this resolved. Please let us know if you have any trouble accessing the status center or if there’s anything else we can help with while repairs are underway.
