I'm trying to assign static IP, but getting error "IP has already been reserved for another device."

I'm getting error:

IP has already been reserved for another device.
Please try using another IP address!

Is there any way to find the device that has the IP currently assigned?

Or there is a way to use different IP range for dynamic IPs and different for static IPs?

Or is there a way to display connected devices by their IPs or MAC addresses (name is usually useless on 100+ devices in the local network)

I've found the dirty workaround:

1. Login to your router page,

2. Open Connected Devices -> Devices: eg. http://10.0.0.1/connected_devices_computers.jst

3. Run javascript from browser's console to expand all devices and show IPs and MACs
$('.device-name').click()

4. Find the IP you're looking for:

user_xn7wuq Thanks for posting on our Community Forums and for updating us with a workaround. It sounds like you are using our Admin Tool. Advanced features for some of our gateways are still available through our Admin Page. You can get to the Admin Tool online or through the Xfinity app. What kind of modem/gateway do you have? Another option would be visiting our Advance Settings feature through our awesome Xfinity App. You can check the links I shared for more information.
