I see the data cap went down to 100,000

I just recently noticed that my data cap for the $50 plan went down to 100,000 GB from 500,000 GB. Has anybody else experienced that? Does anyone else possibly know the reason?

Where are you seeing that? In areas where a data "plan" is in effect (see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/data-usage-plan), the cap is 1.2 TB, or 1,229GB for all Internet plans unless you are paying extra for Unlimited.

Yet another app bug. As stated, where the cap is in effect it is 1.2 TB, which is 1,229GB for all Internet plans.

Do you happen to have Unlimited? Maybe 100,000 GB (or 500,000 GB) is their way of indicating "unlimited".

If all the plans are a little over a TB, then that's not necessarily ALL the plans, if I have "unlimited". I'm not sure if I have unlimited or not, all I know is it's the $30 plan. It is the the Internet Essentials, the Federal ACP plan, rather. I get 100 mb per second. But I thank you for responding too, I was just curious. I just got an email telling me the ACP will be ending, more than likely in April, if congress doesn't allot more funds for it.

@user_4bs934 @BruceW is correct that if an internet package does not have the Unlimited Data plan, or it is not excluded from the threshold such as Internet Essentials, the accounts would have 1.2 TB (1229 GB) of Internet data usage each month as part of the monthly Xfinity Internet service. The link: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/data-usage-what-is-the-terabyte-data-usage-plan provides those excluded from the threshold.

... it's the $30 plan. It is the the Internet Essentials ...

On https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/data-usage-what-is-the-terabyte-data-usage-plan under "Exclusions" it says "The 1.2 Terabyte Internet Data Usage Plan does not apply to Internet Essentials", so that may have something to do with the oddball numbers the app is showing you.
